Qualification Requirements: To earn the Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support, you must complete at least 100 hours of practical work in a classroom environment. This experience can be gained in primary or secondary schools across Australia and must meet the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency. The total hours can be accumulated across all relevant units.

Completion of this qualification depends on each individual student, including their availability and previous experience.

Regular submission of assessments is a requirement of this course. A training and assessment schedule will be discussed with you and provided by your Trainer/Assessor.

  • an Australian citizen; or
  • a permanent visa holder; or
